Kalp was founded in 2010 by a small group of educators and health workers who believed that lasting change starts at the community level. What began as a single after-school tutoring program in one district has grown into a multi-state effort spanning education, health, clean water, and livelihood support.
We work hand-in-hand with local communities, listening first and building programs around what each village actually needs — not a one-size-fits-all template. Every rupee donated is tracked and reported transparently in our annual reports.

To work alongside rural and underserved communities, providing education, healthcare, and livelihood support that is sustainable and community-led.
Reach 50 additional villages with after-school learning support over the next five years.
Run quarterly health camps in every district we serve, with a focus on maternal and child health.
Install or repair 100 community water points by 2028.
We publish our financials and program outcomes every year — no exceptions.
Programs are designed with communities, not for them.
Every donation is tracked from receipt to impact.
We work with dignity and respect for every person we serve.
